Background:  As the title might indicate, this woman likes to collect butterflies.  However, the viewer is not sure if these butterflies are coming or going from her possession.  The tree in the background and the plant image on the book are Maggie’s references to William Henry Fox Talbot – one of the inventors of the photographic process in the first half of the 19th century in England.  Although she was trained as a photographer using film and chemistry, Maggie now uses digital techniques for her work.
