Background:  This image was inspired by a vintage illustration about devils.  Mme Satan is the wife of Satan.  Ciou presents us with an amusing Burlesque scene of the relationship between the two devils.  They live with her psychic black cat in this Halloween landscape, which is filled with cute and scary happiness.  Ciou made the piece as a tribute to the movie Madam Satan by Cecil B. DeMille.  The work was created using a mixed media technique and was exhibited at Kochxbos Gallery, Amsterdam.
